In the oven

I'm so excited!  We finally have a working oven in our home.

Our kitchen was demolished a couple of weeks before Christmas and our new kitchen installed the day we left for France.  We've been back for over a month and yesterday our oven was finally connected.  We needed to have an additional power line attached to our house because of the new appliances installed during the renovation: heated towel rack, underfloor heating, electric oven, dishwasher and more lighting.
I haven't used an oven for over six months (our Paris apartment didn't have an oven either).  For starters, today I will be roasting a butter-stuffed chicken for dinner and maybe baking this cake...
